



On April 25, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the *“140th Anniversary of the Iravan Teachers’ Seminary”* was held at the Atatürk Center, organized by the Yerevan Turkish Republic. The purpose of the conference was to highlight the role of the Iravan Teachers’ Seminary in the 19th century in the development of education and science, as well as the contributions of prominent intellectuals educated at the seminary to the scientific and cultural environment of the time.
The event began with the playing of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a one-minute silence in memory of our martyrs.
The conference was opened with a welcoming speech by Irada Rizazade, the authorized representative of the Yerevan Turkish Republic in Azerbaijan. She spoke about the purpose of the event and the activities carried out by the Yerevan Turkish Republic. She also emphasized the special significance of the decree signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the *“140th Anniversary of the Iravan Teachers’ Seminary,”* in terms of preserving the legacy of this historic seminary and raising awareness among the younger generation.
