The delegation of the Public Union “For the Social Welfare of Citizens” (VSNIB), together with several local NGO leaders, participated in a business visit and experience exchange program in Moldova.
The main purpose of the visit was to study the working methods of Moldovan NGOs operating in the field of social protection and rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, as well as to conduct mutual exchange of experience in this area. Within the framework of the experience exchange program, the following meetings were held:
Bălți City Hall: Discussions were conducted with the city leadership on the organization of social services and cooperation between municipalities and NGOs.
Social Enterprises: The delegation closely familiarized itself with the working conditions and service mechanisms of social enterprises operating under Moldovan NGOs.
Mutual Information Exchange: The Azerbaijani delegation delivered a detailed presentation to their Moldovan counterparts about the conditions created in Azerbaijan for persons with disabilities, state support measures, and the role of civil society in this field.
The visit is being implemented with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
It should be noted that the Public Union “For the Social Welfare of Citizens,” as a member of the Union of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities of Azerbaijan, attaches special importance to expanding international cooperation in this area.
