A meeting was held between the Minister of Culture, Anar Karimov, and Amir Ali Sardari Iravani, a descendant of the Iravan Khan, who is currently living in Germany and visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the planned work and projects aimed at reviving the historical and cultural heritage of Yerevan. Particular attention was drawn to the long-standing cultural genocide carried out by Armenia against the rich historical and cultural heritage belonging to the Azerbaijani people in Yerevan and across the territory of present-day Armenia. Amir Ali Iravani expressed his willingness to actively participate in and support projects and initiatives aimed at restoring Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage in these areas.

In turn, Minister Anar Karimov emphasized the importance of archiving and registering cultural heritage artifacts, as well as studying archival documents from neighboring countries in this context.

At the end of the meeting, Amir Ali Iravani expressed his pleasure at being able to visit the lands of his ancestors once again.
