“Each of us must vote for Azerbaijan’s confident future” – Iradə Rizazadə
Iradə Rizazadə, Chair of the “For the Social Welfare of Citizens” Public Union, told QHT.az that representatives of civil society have always stood by the state, safeguarding national interests at every stage of the country’s development. She emphasized that in recent years, this support from NGOs has become even more visible:
“During the 44-day war, NGO members united around the Supreme Commander like every other citizen, supporting our army within their means and extending help to the families of martyrs and those affected by the war.”
She added that even after the war, NGOs have played an undeniable role in environmental campaigns aimed at preventing Armenia’s ongoing ecological aggression against Azerbaijan and the illegal exploitation of the country’s mineral resources by Armenia:
“They play a crucial role in demonstrating the strength of Azerbaijan’s civil society and spreading the truth to the world.”
