The UN Secretary-General held a meeting with civil society representatives within the framework of CSW68.

Within the framework of the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, a meeting with civil society representatives was held at the UN Trusteeship Council, attended by UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The Secretary-General emphasized the importance of civil society participation in decisions adopted by governments and, at the conclusion of his speech, called on women and civil society representatives to be active in promoting gender equality.
