An Event Titled "Yerevan – Our Main Artery" Was Held

Today, an event titled "Yerevan – Our Main Artery" was held, organized by the "Eternal Unity" Youth Public Union in partnership with the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union. The event was attended by government representatives, heads of public unions, active youth, and other guests.

The event began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Following this, a minute of silence was observed to honor the dear memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, Shahin Aliyev, Chairman of the "Eternal Unity" Youth Public Union and international human rights defender, spoke about Yerevan's place in our history and its vital role in Azerbaijan's national memory. Subsequently, Irada Rizazade, Chairwoman of the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union, and Aysha Abbasli, member of the Western Azerbaijan Community and department head of the Gafan District Youth Council, delivered speeches emphasizing that the return to Western Azerbaijan is a national goal.

During the artistic part of the event, reciters Zahra Najafzade and Malak Shairova performed moving poems on the theme of Yerevan. In conclusion, a video prepared by the youth was screened, once again highlighting the importance of preserving the rich cultural heritage of Yerevan.
