Delegations from Jordan and Djibouti  visited the DOST Agency to learn about its activities and operations.

Delegations led by Asia Abdel Mutaleb Yaghi, Member of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Chairperson of the Committee on Persons with Disabilities, and Doualeh Said Mahamoud, Director of the National Agency for Persons with Disabilities of the Republic of Djibouti, visited the DOST Agency during their visit to Azerbaijan.

As part of the visit, the guests toured Baku DOST Center No. 1, where they were introduced to the services provided to the public and received detailed information on the operations, principles, and service mechanisms of DOST centers.

During meetings at the DOST Agency, Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Agency’s Management Board, gave a comprehensive presentation on DOST services and the Agency’s concept. It was noted that over 3.4 million citizens have been served at DOST centers, with a 98.5 % satisfaction rate. Future cooperation prospects were also discussed.

Additionally, within the framework of the forum “Collaborative Action: Strengthening Global South NGOs for a New and Just World”, organized jointly by the State Agency for Support to Non-Governmental Organizations and the Azerbaijan National NGO Forum at the Baku Congress Center, an exhibition of national handicrafts was arranged.

The exhibition included a special section featuring handmade items created at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center. Forum participants, including heads of prominent NGOs and civil society representatives from 116 countries, explored the works produced by trainers and beneficiaries in the Center’s training studios.
