Our belief that we will return to those lands is growing day by day — INTERVIEW
Even as time passes, some years and some places are not erased from memory. Yerevan—and the days spent in Yerevan—are among such memories. For the people who once lived there, it was not only a geographical place, but also a part of their lives. A resident of Yerevan and the chairperson of the “For Citizens’ Social Welfare” Public Association, Irada Rizazade, has carried those memories with her for years.
Her photo album titled “Yerevan – our history, our land, our destiny” is a visual expression of personal memory. The album is not merely a collection of photographs; it is a documentary chronicle reflecting the mood of an era. In an interview with AZERTAC, Ms. Irada spoke about how this project was created, the place the city of Yerevan holds in her life, and her hopes for the future.
