“Social Development” International NGO Coalition – 2nd World Summit on Social Development

As a member of the Board of the “Social Development” International NGO Coalition, I am participating in the 2nd World Summit on Social Development.

Thirty years after the first Social Summit held in Copenhagen, countries around the world have come together once again to discuss social development, equality, and the building of just societies.

The opening speeches of the Summit were delivered by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and President of the UN Economic and Social Council Lok Bahadur Thapa.
