The Project Supporting Women’s Employment and Vocational Education in the Regions Is Launched

The Public Union “For the Social Welfare of Citizens,” with support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has launched the project “Raising Awareness on Vocational Education for Women and Girls in the Regions and Supporting Their Engagement in Entrepreneurship to Eliminate Economic Dependence.”

Within the framework of the project, which will be implemented in the Lerik and Astara districts, seminars on the importance of vocational education will be held for female students in grades 9–11 at secondary schools. In addition, training sessions will be organized to encourage women’s self-employment and entrepreneurial engagement.
