The initial phase of the project implemented by the Public Union “For the Social Welfare of Citizens” with financial support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been launched in the Lerik district.
Within the framework of the project “Raising Awareness on Vocational Education for Women and Girls in the Regions and Supporting Their Engagement in Entrepreneurship to Eliminate Economic Dependence,” a seminar on vocational education was held on the first day for upper-grade female students from secondary schools in Lerik. Expert Irada Alili, Chairperson of the Public Union “Support for the Development of Vocational Education,” spoke about vocational education, its types, making the right career choice, and the significance of this educational stage. Following the seminar, a video was shown highlighting the life paths of individuals who achieved success by mastering various professions.
After the event, the project team visited the Vocational School in Lerik district, where they closely observed the educational process and held extensive discussions with the students.
