On October 27, at the Museum Center, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Historical Monuments and Cultural Heritage of Western Azerbaijan" and the presentation of the photo album "Iravan — Our History, Our Land, Our Destiny" were held. Organized by the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union, the event was funded by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by members of parliament, representatives of state institutions, historians, descendants of the Khans who ruled Iravan, and intellectuals from Western Azerbaijan.
Opening the event, Irada Rizazade, Chairperson of the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union, provided detailed information on the organization's activities in this direction and the goals of the implemented project.
The project consultant, PhD in History, State Prize laureate, and Department Head of the Presidential Library, Nazim Mustafa, emphasized the scientific significance and the necessity for the public of the exhibition and the presented photo album in terms of uncovering historical truths. He noted that such publications play a crucial role in promoting our material and cultural heritage in Western Azerbaijan to future generations and the international community.
