NGOs in Azerbaijan are Contributing to Processes – Nadima Rahimli Addresses the OSCE Session / VIDEO
The Warsaw Human Dimension Conference is being held by the OSCE Chairmanship with the support of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.
Nadima Rahimli, deputy chairwoman of the "For the Social Welfare of Citizens" Public Union, spoke at the "Democracy at the National, Regional, and Local Levels" session of the conference. QHT.az presents the text and video recording of the speech.
"Thank you, Madam Chair, As a representative of civil society, I would like to draw your attention to the role of NGOs in democratic processes at the national, regional, and local levels. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play a vital role in supporting and developing democratic processes in many countries by promoting citizen participation, calling on governments to be accountable, and protecting human rights."
